Securiguard Services Limited is a leading-edge innovative security and safety solutions provider, and we are currently seeking a Security Guard for our camp located in Chetwynd, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for observing and reporting suspicious activity, responding to incident/emergency situations, providing perimeter security coverage, and more.


Location: Chetwynd, BC

Job Type: Casual, 1-2 rotations

Wages: Starting at $287 per day (based on a 12-hour shift) plus travel expenses.

What would you do:

  • Observe and report suspicious activity and report security breaches
  • Respond to incident/emergencies and follow protocol
  • Provide perimeter security coverage
  • Provide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site
  • Patrolling of designated areas in an outdoor environment
  • Radio check-ins and security report writing duties
  • Provide a visual security presence - detecting and deterring unauthorized persons
  • Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
  • Adhere to Securiguard's core Values, Vision, Mission statement

What would you bring:

  • Valid BC Security License
  • Previous security experience is an asset
  • Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract and claims history
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort working in a wilderness setting
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test
