Pay Rate: $24/hour

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinating scheduling of staff
  • Entering schedules into Winteam
  • Schedule last minute call ins
  • Taking calls and answer emails after hours from time to time
  • Providing support with Administration/On-Boarding new guards/Staff Relations /Training Compliance
  • Work closely with field supervisors and Project Manager for upcoming scheduling needs
  • Make corrections and changes to schedules when required
  • Work with HR to create succession plans for upcoming vacancies and/or extra coverage work
  • Ability to answer calls, emails, and complete requests in a timely manner

Training, Experience

  • Has attended or will attend Securiguard Management and Supervisor training
  • Has attended or will attend H&S Online, AODA, WHMIS, Workplace Harassment, Smoke Free ON
  • Has Attended or will attend Diversity and Human Rights training
  • Has attended or will attend Workplace Harassment and Violence training

*Securiguard can provide these courses if not yet completed

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 or GED
  • Some management, supervisory and/or scheduling experience

Knowledge of:

  • PSISA and Regulations
  • Human Rights and Diversity Legislation
  • Occupational Health and Safety, and WSIB protocols
  • Schedule Management (ex. continental, flexible, standard)
  • Employment Standards
  • Computer Skills - word, excel and power point

No one candidate will have all the desired knowledge, attributes, training and skills. This is an operational and service delivery function, with expectations that demand responsiveness and organization.
