Securiguard is now looking to add another passionate and tenacious team member to join our team as the Marketing Communications Coordinator in our Head Office!

In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Strategic Planning, interact regularly with the Executive Team including the President & COO and build relationships within all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the rebranding and execution of revised brand standards throughout the company
  • Create and continually improve the design, feel, wording, and impact of corporate communication
  • Assist the Proposal Manager with proposal writing and company overviews, including proofreading, editing, assembling, and collating documents
  • Conduct research on clients' strategic plans, operational and financial analysis, and community and social presence/initiatives with the goal of being a best class solution provider reflected in an impactful and insightful proposal response exceeding client expectations
  • Coordinate and prepare materials and presentations needed for meetings and conferences
  • Administer the Employee Recognition Program and update the award tracker
  • Coordinate and prepare social media content and posts in conjunction with our agency partner
  • Manage website updates and the provision of SEO/SEM services
  • Develop media releases and coordinate interviews as required
  • Create advertising campaigns as required for recruitment and brand awareness
  • Create quarterly newsletter for employees and clients
  • Coordinate marketing materials by liaising with printers and suppliers for business cards, vehicle wraps, uniform design, signage, promotional materials, etc.
  • Assist in the coordination of company events such as team-building events, client events, tradeshows, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, English, or any relevant field
  • Minimum 2-years direct work experience in a business development or marketing administration role
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is considered an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and highly proficient in organization skills
  • A high degree of discretion and confidentiality to sensitive information
  • Quick to grasp complex strategic, operational, and financial concepts and express them in clear language
  • Ability to understand different communication styles and eager to cooperate with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executives as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working independently and within a team environment
