Securiguard is hiring full-time Local Industrial Security Professionals for Clearwater, British Columbia. This is a chance to be a part of a unique and exciting project! All training is provided!


Hours of work: 12-hour shifts, 14 days on 14 days off

What would you do:

  • Providing excellent customer service to both the client and its guests
  • Emergency response: Ability to respond to incident/emergency situations and follow required protocol
  • Provide perimeter security coverage of Contractor activities and equipment
  • Access control at project sites
  • Patrolling of designated areas in outdoor terrain environment
  • Alarm response
  • Radio check ins
  • Report writing
  • Identify and reporting safety hazards
  • Visual security presence - detect and deter unauthorized persons
  • Perform visual scan of materials for signs of vandalism
  • Control a consistent traffic flow of vehicles and personnel entering and exiting
  • Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
  • Reporting security breaches
  • Adhere to Securiguard's core Values, Vision, Mission statement
  • Perform regularly scheduled site duties as required by client standard operating procedures
  • Keep consistent notes using company issued notebook
  • Frequent shift activity reporting

What would you bring:

  • Valid BC Security License or ability to obtain
  • Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract and claims history
  • Pipeline Construction Safety Training is an asset
  • First Aid Certification is an asset
  • Bear Awareness Certification is an asset
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test & agree not to consume drugs or alcohol while deployed
  • Must be comfortable working in a wilderness setting for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work a 12 hour shift (day or night) and must be physically fit to work in a remote location
  • Must have open availability & be able to work morning or night shifts
  • Must have access to a vehicle
