Securiguard has an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Manager with proven experience in the management and oversight of an Operations Centre.

As an Operations Centre Manager, you will play a vital role in achieving the operational needs of our exponential service growth and driving forward our mission to make people feel safe. Your focus will be to The team member in this role will report to the Director of Operations, Vancouver. This is a dynamic role, and we are seeking someone with a self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit, who is passionate about the industry, and looking for an opportunity to develop their careers with a leading organization. This role will be responsible for growing and developing the Operations Center as Securiguard expands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction through data-driven reports and policies to ensure the team is engaged and supporting the front-line officers and delivering on our mission of making people feel safe
  • Lead from the front lines by stepping in to fill any resource gaps in the Operations Centre
  • Manage, maintain, and improve on all aspects of the delivery of quality service in the Operations Centre
  • Conduct performance reviews and recognize efforts and contributions for all direct reports; work with direct reports to implement development plans
  • Regularly meet with the internal stakeholders to assess the Operations Centers level of service; ensure all contract requirements are meeting or exceeding expectations, and forecast future client needs and suggests options for improvement on an ongoing basis
  • Foster a culture of health and safety through active management of all H&S policies, procedures, and compliances
  • Review policies and procedures and update as needed
  • Develop and implement Operations Centre training strategies and ensure team members are trained and supported
  • Maintain an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to problem-solving recognizing and actively researching and communicating opportunities for process and platform improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree and/or college Diploma in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience with demonstrated operational management responsibilities
  • 2+ years in an Operations/Call Centre (considered an asset)
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to meet business demands
  • Experience with producing professional-quality policies, procedures, and reports
  • Experienced with MS Office and other reporting and scheduling software
  • Experience in the development and growth of multiple stakeholder relationships through solutions-based proposals and implementations
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
