We are currently looking for a Field Support member to join our team. This is a full-time position that reports to our Alberta Branch Office.

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct scheduled site visits to coach, train and evaluate Security Officer presence, performance, deportment, and adherence to Post Orders
  • Assess Security Officer Performance an initiate training where necessary.  If a Corrective Action Report (CAR) is necessary it will be discussed with the appropriate account manager before it is presented.
  • Ensure all Security Officers are coached on our Mission and Values, site/duty protocols, conduct, deportment, and Securiguard policy and procedures.
  • Use the QAA process to evaluate actively engaged, unengaged, and actively disengaged Security Officers. Communicate and create an action plan with the designated Account Manager/Operations Manager.
  • Maintain familiarity on the operations of all sites, to the extent possible, for the purpose of short notice training of new officers assigned to the site, in addition to filling in for short notice book-outs by regular officers, or making themselves available for grounding at time sensitive or other sites if no other option is available, until relief is provided.
  • Respond to emergency or urgent site situations, evaluate and recommend or initiate appropriate action, secure sites as necessary, liaise/co-ordinate with applicable law, fire, medical or site officials, ensure that post orders are adhered to and confirm/ensure the safety of Securiguard personnel and our clients.
  • Ensure that all Securiguard officers are in compliance with Attorney General Department's licensing regulations and OH & S standards.
  • Conduct oversight on the activities and priorities of Standby officers and the afterhours decision on tasking priorities and resource disbursement will reside with the ranking Field Supervisor on duty should this become necessary with C3.
  • Ensure the Field vehicle supply checklist is completed weekly with the necessary equipment and Field supplies. The Field vehicle should be presented in an organized, neat, clean and professional fashion at all times.
  • Field Supervisors are expected to present themselves at all times in a professional, courteous and well dressed manner, and may expect to be occasionally called upon to act as liaison between Account Managers and clients, or as the initial point of contact with clients in some situations.
  • Deliver material or personnel to specific sites or locations in the event that other means are not available or appropriate due to cost, timing or the size of the material.
  • Review e-mails and Operations Reports filed previous to shift commencement, in addition to confirming Tasking assignments/requests and planning the shift duties accordingly.
  • Maintain flexibility and availability for various shift timings and weekend/holiday assignments in a 24/7 environment.
  • Submit daily Shift Summaries in a concise, yet detailed, time specific format.
  • Submit Operations Reports, Incident Reports, Investigation Reports, QAA's, Corrective Action Reports or any other reports as required in a highly timely manner and in a professional and precise, detailed format.
  • Supervisors are expected to present themselves as deportment role models to site personnel, clients and Securiguard management and staff.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements: 

  • Valid AB Security License
  • Minimum 12 months security with supervisor experience
  • Must have a non GDL Class 5 Driver's License and a Clean Abstract
  • The ability to work under pressure and in a high paced environment
  • Must be able to work 12hr shifts 

Availability:

  • Candidate must have 24/7 availability to be able to accommodate a multitude of shifts
