Securiguard is currently accepting applications to join our team of OFA 2 Security Guards for our high profile sites. This role requires someone with a mature mind-set who is reliable and able to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service to both the client and guests
• Providing First Aid if required
• Greeting and welcoming customers
• Access control
• Patrolling of designated areas
• Alarm response
• Radio check ins
• Report writing 
• Flagging safety hazards
• Crime prevention
• Being a visual deterrent
• Coordinating and liaising with the police when required
• Flagging any breaches of security
• Reporting site incidents to Operations Managers

Requirements

• BC Security License is a strong asset
• OFA 2 Certificate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Securiguard is currently offering a signing bonus for applicants holding a BC Security Workers License and OFA2 certificate. A bonus of $250.00 is payable for any successful candidate who is hired by us, works at least 16 hours per week and completes their 90-day probationary period.
