Securiguard is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the Finance Team at our Downtown Vancouver Head Office.

Responsibilities:

Receivables - Payment Deposits and Follow Up (50%)

  • Process daily deposits and entries
  • Send payment reminders to customers
  • Record actions taken and set up follow up dates
  • Answer basic inquiries by email or phone
  • Redirect issues to other team members

Accounts Payable Support (40%)

  • Print and distribute vendor invoices for approval
  • Enter invoices in Winteam
  • Organize Mastercard receipts
  • Scan and save invoices for record keeping

Other Duties (10%)

  • General clerical duties

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in office administration or entry level accounting work
  • Enrolment in CPA program or an accounting diploma would be an asset
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent written and verbal command of the English Language
  • Excellent organizational skillsĀ
