Securiguard Services Limited is currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Operations Coordinator/Scheduler for the Airside Safety Escort Program. The Securiguard Operations Coordinator/Scheduler for the Airside Safety Escort Division at the YVR Branch is responsible scheduling, inventory management and data collection.

This position reports directly Manager, Airside Safety Escorts. This position ensures all operational demands are met and all concerns are communicated to the Manager and/or Supervisor for follow up. This position is the first point of contact for scheduling Valley guards and all mobile drivers. The coordinator will ensure that all training and other needs are met so that front line guards can complete their assigned work unimpeded.  

This position will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries ranging from new business requests to scheduling changes, extra coverage requests, and customer complaints. The coordinator will handle all requests in a prompt and professional manner, either addressing and resolving the issue immediately or immediately forwarding customer inquiries to the Manager and/or Supervisor.

Job Functions

  • Schedule and maintain the schedule for each Airside Safety Escort site.
  • Communicate recruiting needs to the Manager, Airside Safety Escorts and/or People and Culture.
  • Attend daily constructions meetings with appropriate Management member.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and vehicles Airside Safety Escort team.
  • Update call out list once a week and add to Job Portal.
  • Support and ensure that training, certifications, and QAAs, are kept up to date.
  • Schedule training with ASE Manager to ensure sufficient coverage to deal with vacations, book outs and Leave of Absences
  • Weekly reporting to Securiguard Management Team
  • Responsible for driving the NBOT numbers to a minimum by applying creative and strategic scheduling solutions.
  • Ensures that all guards are properly uniformed, informed and oriented for each site and its unique requirements.
  • Ensures all site-specific requirements are met before guards are mobilized to site, i.e. security licenses, driver licenses and specific training
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the office
  • Issue and document uniform and PPE for all guards based on operational requirements, controls supply and equipment ordering.
  • Obtains and documents all Requests for Services
  • Performs monthly audits to ensure all guards' Security Licenses are valid and up to date
  • Creates Work Orders pertaining to client specific details, site specific details and requirements.
  • Creates Operations Reports and ensures necessary follow-up with Branch Management.
  • Participate in onsite training to ensure familiarity with the different post
  • Provide suggestions for development or improvement of all aspects of service delivery.
  • Site Orientation; may show others how to perform tasks or duties by familiarizing new employees with the work area and processes.
  • Any additional tasks prescribed by Securiguard Management

Experience

  •          Minimum 2-3 Years of Scheduling Experience
